PROGRAM TRACKS
The Spark Tank learn-to-launch program consists of three tracks that overlap and will apply to entrepreneurs at differing stages of preparedness and confidence in their business ideas. These tracks help talented local hustlers who know how to make money shift their mindset from simply meeting personal needs to creating value for others, and by doing so, having their own needs met by serving others with good products and services. This is the essence of business.
Entrepreneurs meet in person whenever possible, usually on Saturday mornings, to work through course material, learn together and offer advice and wisdom to one another, with help from local mentors, facilitators, and others.
01
Preparation Academy
This track builds foundational skills in the domains of marketing, accounting, management, and finance. All content is on-line, but the learning happens within the Spark Tank entrepreneur community hosted in the local community. Each of four-to-six sessions is two hours in length with double that amount of time outside of the community learning experience. The skills developed and frameworks learned in this track provide the permission-to-play base level of business education. This track will take 3-4 months to complete.

02
Entrepreneur Bootcamp
This track walks budding entrepreneurs through the process of clarifying their value-creating concept to economic and financial viability – that in which others may choose to invest. The Spark Tank uses the Business Model Canvas as our framework for this journey and will consist of 9-to-11 sessions, each two hours in length, with much time required outside of the learning sessions to continue clarifying and aligning all considerations toward a viable business. This track will take 6-8 months to complete.

03
Food Truck Apprenticeship
In partnership with Soulcial Kitchen and Food is Love TV, the Spark Tank is pleased to offer the on-line learning curriculum for the only US Department of Labor approved food truck apprenticeship program to those interested in creating value through food and dignified dining. These sessions are held at agreed upon times and the learning and practicum elements will take approximately one year to complete.
